Spanish for Travel In-Person

Are you planning on taking a vacation to a Spanish-speaking country this summer?  Are you looking to refresh some of your Spanish skills?  Are you a beginning Spanish learner that wants to focus on communicating?   Then, you will want to sign-up for this program!

Prepare for your next adventure in the Spanish-speaking world with this five week program! This program focuses on practical, real-world communication for every stage of your trip—from booking a hotel and navigating transportation to ordering authentic local dishes. You will master essential travel phrases, practice "survival" scenarios like asking for more towels, and gain a few cultural insights.  This program focuses on communication, not grammar.  Each class you will be given vocabulary and resources to use to practice at home what was presented in each session.

You will be registered for all five sessions when you register.  The topics for each week will be as follows:

4/16- Spanish basics, Greetings, Useful Phrases

4/23- Ordering Food and Restaurants

4/30-  Hotels and Reservations

5/7-  Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Transportation)

5/14- Shopping
