Adult Nutrition Essentials In-Person
March is National Nutrition Month! Learn about making better food choices this month with Weis dietitian Melissa Logan. This program offers nutrition education to help adults achieve and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle through balanced eating. Participants will learn how to make healthier food choices which can help to manage weight, and prevent diet-related conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. All topics of particular interest to seniors. This program covers practical topics including meal planning, label reading, smart grocery shopping, and portion control. Join us to gain the knowledge and skills needed to feel better and improve your long-term health. There will be a cooking demonstration with this program that you can sample.
