PA Game Commission- BACKYARD BEARS In-Person
Join the PA Game Commission Educator, Jake Smith, to learn all about black bears and how to safely recreate in black bear country. Please only register the 8 to 17-year-olds; guardians are encouraged to stay and participate, but don't need to register.
This is a fun, interactive, hands-on educational program.
About the presenter: Jake Smith is an Environmental Education Specialist with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, bringing extensive experience from educator roles with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, environmental education centers at State Universities, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and research positions with a non-profit in Alaska. With a Master of Education in Environmental Education, Jake is passionate about inspiring individuals of all ages to connect with and protect the natural world. Join him for engaging programs that foster environmental stewardship and learning!
