This art form is a subtractive technique using a prepared hardboard panel. Drawing experience is not required as you will learn how to transfer an image onto the board. The class will be a combination of lecture, demonstration, and working along with the instructor to get to know the basic tool usage to create a variety of techniques for textures and values. Scratchboard and all tools will be provided. 

Presenter and artist Lynn Kibbe is an award-winning scratchboard artist. Lynn became intrigued with scratchboards about 13 years ago. She is a member of several art organizations and is a frequent exhibitor in regional through international juried exhibitions.
