Supermarket Challenge: Budget Friendly Meals In-Person
We challenge you to build a healthy meal on a budget! This program is for tweens and teens Ages 10-17. A parent or guardian must attend the program along with the teen/tween. Please register ONLY 1 member of each family, even if multiple children or adults will be attending.
Learn about nutritious food choices while making your dollars count. Melissa Logan, Weis dietitian, will talk about the importance of a balanced meal and how to create healthier meals. Merrill Smith from M&T Bank will show you how to stretch your budget and get the most out of your money. Each family will then be challenged to shop for a healthy, balanced meal on a specific budget.
This program will take place at the Weis Market at 305 River Ave., Williamsport. Please meet in seasonal area at the front of the store .
