AUDUBON APPRENTICES In-Person
In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, join the PA Game Commission in exploring the history of the famous naturalist John Audubon and his adventures in Pennsylvania.
Participants will be challenged to create the illusion of life through art using dead bird specimens, similar to how Audubon and other famous naturalists studied wildlife.
About the presenter: Jake Smith is an Environmental Education Specialist with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, bringing extensive experience from educator roles with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, environmental education centers at State Universities, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and research positions with a non-profit in Alaska.
