RIDING THE TRAIN IN CENTRAL PA

RIDING THE TRAIN IN CENTRAL PA In-Person

Join rail-buff and travel-writer Joseph W. Smith III for tips on train-riding in Central PA. Though Williamsport lost its passenger service in 1971, you'll find plenty of day-trips on tourist rides like Strasburg and Lehigh Gorge, not to mention Amtrak out of Harrisburg. Joe will also offer pointers for long-distance travel, covering the nearest convenient access for America's most scenic routes -- along with types of accommodations and meals.

Joseph is a published author, English teacher, avid reader, hiker, and adventurer.

Feel free to email Nicole at nrader@jvbrown.edu with any questions.
