Storytime & Craft with author, Janint Mendoza Young

Storytime & Craft with author, Janint Mendoza Young In-Person

Join us at JVB library for a special storytime and craft with author Janint Mendoza Young.

Janint will be reading her self-published, bilingual book De Guadalajara A Nueva York - From Guadalajara To New York

Participants will listen to the story in both Spanish and English as well as make a fun Paper Bag Mariachi Craft.

Janint Mendoza Young was born in Mexico City and raised in Guadalajara where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Her two little girls inspired her to write a story so they could learn about where they were born and learn about their new home, New York. Janint and her family moved to the United States in 2002. Janint is grateful that over the last 20 years, the availability of original stories told in Spanish has increased and can make a difference in children's lives.
